DAC Beachcroft announces 10% hike in fee income

NEWLY-merged law firm DAC Beachcroft has announced a 10% hike in fee income of £88.2m for the first half of the year.
The national firm, which has an office in Brindleyplace, Birmingham, was created at the end of October this year by the merger of Davies Arnold Cooper with Beachcroft,
Simon Hodson, the former senior partner of Beachcroft, who has taken the role at the enlarged entity said: “This performance is laudable because of the disruption the merger caused for both firms.
“It is a testament to the hard work and focus everyone has had on looking after clients. It is, of course, only the first six months of the year and the real test is going to be maintaining that focus during the first six months of trading as DAC Beachcroft LLP as well as maintaining all of the necessary financial disciplines needed to ensure a successful outcome for the year as a whole.”
The firm employs more than 2,000 people and has a comprehensive UK network with coverage across Europe, Latin America, North America and Asia-Pacific.
