Orion Media shows staying power
ORION Media, the company behind Midlands radio station BRMB, has extended its lease at Nine Brindleyplace in Birmingham until 2021.
The new seven year lease will take effect following the completion of the current contract, set to expire in 2014.
Aside from BRMB, Orion Media operates radio stations including Beacon, Mercia, Gem 106, Wyvern and Gold (Birmingham).
Chief executive Phil Riley said: “As we were keen to consolidate a number of our other services into one location, extending our existing lease at Nine Brindleyplace was the logical step.”
A part of the Brindleyplace estate, which is owned and operated by Hines Global REIT and Moorfield Group (Moorfield), Nine Brindleyplace fronts Broad Street and has rear access to Oozell’s Square.
Igor Mathias of Hines, said: “Nine Brindleyplace is an exceptional building, and through on going work such as the scheduled refurbishment of the reception area, we intend to maintain its fresh, contemporary feel.”
