Manufacturer calls on Coventry for convergence

A MANUFACUTRING company is converging its two offices into one new locale in Coventry.

Bystronic UK, which supplies manufacturing equipment and specialises in metal processing, has agreed a lease on unit six of Wayside Business Park, following the consolidation its operations in Leeds and Chard, Somerset.

The 25,800sq ft unit has industrial and office space alongside warehouse storage, training rooms, a contact centre and showroom.

David Griffith, commercial manager at Bystronic UK, said: “We needed a location that would support our widespread customer base, and initially looked at the East Midlands, but the combination of industrial and office space at Wayside made Coventry the perfect solution.”

Richard Norgrove, property director at Hortons which owns Wayside Business Park, said: “Coventry is an established location for distribution and manufacturing, and with competitive rates and unrivalled motorway access we have seen continued interest from companies operating nationwide.”

Joint agents Shortland Horne and D&P Holt acted for Hortons’ Estates and Bystronic UK represented themselves.
