Burntwood Business Park making good progress

A COMPANY which provides temporary and permanent power supplies to businesses nationwide has opened its first Midlands depot as part of an expansion plan.
Progress Group has taken on a 4,810 sq ft unit at Zone 3, Burntwood Business Park, which is owned and managed by London and Cambridge Properties, (LCP).
The new depot has created two new jobs initially with more to follow. accessibility.
The company provides a range of services from a single generator to a complete turnkey package for the design, build, installation and commissioning of critical power equipment such as generators, UPS systems and temporary electrical supplies.
The Burntwood depot has a wide range of FG Wilson rental generating sets and an extensive parts distribution centre supported by a team of field service engineers.
Kerry Moggridge, the firm’s hire director, said: “The new Midlands depot will enhance our presence in the region and ensure we can meet increased local demand without compromising our rapid response times. We now have seven operational offices to increase our nationwide coverage.”
The Yorkshire-based company has embarked on a growth strategy to expand via local depots and offices across the UK. As part of this expansion it has also opened offices in Cardiff and acquired Newburn Power Rental, in Bradford.
Burntwood Business Park is situated between Cannock and Lichfield on the A5190, close to Chasewater Country Park.
