St Mods achieves 100% occupancy at second Telford business park

BIRMINGHAM developer St Modwen has sale of two units totalling 14,000 sq ft at Queensway Business Park to Telford & Wrekin Council. The scheme is now full up.

Full occupancy of all its 22 warehouse/industrial units at the Telford park follows close on the heels of full occupancy at its nearby 20 acre Brockton Business Park.

Telford & Wrekin Council has aquired the space at Queensway as part of its property investment portfolio and it will be managed by the council’s estates and investments team.

Dylan Webster, estates and  investments team leader at the council, said: “The acquisition of these high quality units in a secure location demonstrates our intent to improve the quality of the council’s investment portfolio, and will generate further employment opportunities within the borough.”

Other occupiers at Queensway include The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust, Chips Away, C&L Fabrications and Lisec UK.

St. Modwen surveyor Jonathan Green said: “Securing these final deals and reaching 100 per cent occupation in a difficult economic climate demonstrates there is significant appetite for quality industrial units in strategic locations with good links to the motorway network.”
