Teachers and teeth give ICC a boost

THE National Association of Head Teachers (NAHT) and the British Society for Dental Hygiene Therapy (BSDHT) have both confirmed their 2013 annual conferences will take place at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Birmingham.

The NAHT conference is expected to attract over 600 delegates next May, and will take place over three days. As well as the main conference in hall 1, hall 3 will be used as an exhibition area and a further two executive rooms have been booked for smaller fringe sessions.

NAHT is the latest addition to the ICCs growing portfolio of education clients, which already includes the Association of Colleges (AOC), the National College of School Leadership (NASUWT) and the National Schools Partnership.

The BSDHT annual convention is an annual gathering and is a key event for dental hygienists and therapists. Some 800 members are expected to attend the three day conference and exhibition to be held in November 2013.

ICC account director Linda Best said: “Both organisations are known to provide high quality conferences, so it is a huge compliment that they have chosen the ICC for their events and a great reflection of the level of service we provide.”
