Aston University pledges support for entrepreneurs

ASTON University has pledged its support for Global Entrepreneurship Week 2012 with a series of events designed to raise awareness about the need to promote entrepreneurialism.
Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) takes place this week and is set to provide networking opportunities for people looking to share ideas and explore issues in support of the next generation of businesses.
This year’s theme is ‘Pass it on’; passing on the practical help and support needed by early start-ups and individuals considering taking the plunge into business.
Aston Business School’s Professor of Small Business & Entrepreneurship, Mark Hart, author of a recent report on youth entrepreneurship for Royal Bank of Scotland and The Apprentice finalist, Nick Holzherr will both be giving talks at Aston University on what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur.
Other events at Aston will include a digital business webinar, talks on how to turn business ideas into reality, and the launch of BSEEN (Birmingham Skills for Enterprise and Employability Network). The BSEEN initiative is designed to provide an attractive package of Intensive business start-up support for students and graduates launching their own business ventures.
