Synectics wins £7m contract in Singapore

WARWICKSHIRE-based security and surveillance group Synectics has secured a £7m contract through its subsidiary in Singapore.

The Studley company, a leader in the design, integration, control and management of advanced surveillance technology and networked security systems, will be working on the first phase of a security and CCTV system for a large corporate client.

The contract comprises the design and delivery of a fully integrated surveillance recording and control room replacement and upgrade.

“Synectics has a strong track record of delivering bespoke surveillance systems and will be drawing on that experience in this project,” it said.

The first phase of the contract is scheduled for completion in the current financial year, and the company said it anticipated further follow on work, including ongoing maintenance of the system.

John Shepherd, Synectics chief executive, said: “We are delighted to win this contract which is strategically significant for Synectics and underpins the planned longer term development of the Group’s newly established Far East operating hub.”
