HCB makes an out-of-town move

THE Redditch office of law firm HCB has moved out of the centre of the town as the ambitious firm plans for further expansion.
HCB has taken 2,242 sq ft of space on a ten year lease in Croft House at North Moons Moat.
The deal was done through local property agents John Truslove.
The 12-strong HCB team was in offices in Market Place, where it had been since its takeover of fellow legal firm Brownings & Co, but it has now re-located to a more contemporary building with larger meeting and conference rooms.
Andrew Jones, director at HCB Redditch, said: “To continue to grow our commercial property and corporate business sectors we needed more space with all the amenities such as free parking and larger meeting rooms.
“At the Moons Moat Drive offices we are close to Junction 3 of the M42 and easier to reach by car from all the surrounding areas as well as the town centre.”
HCB employs 60 lawyers throughout the the West Midlands in offices at Solihull, Stratford upon Avon, Alcester, Walsall, Sutton Coldfield and Lichfield.
Ian Parker, a partner with John Truslove, who acted on the deal, said: “1 Croft House represents good value for money.
“These are quality offices with excellent communications and easy access to the motorway network.
“HCB Solicitors is building a substantial West Midlands group, Redditch is a major part of that, and we were very pleased to help with their property needs.”
John Truslove acted for landlord, Cambridge University’s Christ College.
