TUNSTALL Healthcare, a tele-healthcare firm, has taken 3,962 sq ft of office space at Central and Metropolitan Estate’s Grosvenor House in central Birmingham.
The firm is relocating from serviced offices to Grosvenor House – located on the corner of Bennetts Hill and New Street – in a move which marks the next phase of its growth.
With headquarters in Yorkshire and group companies and distribution bases in more than 40 countries, Tunstall’s new Birmingham office will serve as a centre to showcase the company’s technology to clients from health authorities. Around 30 staff are expected to be based at the office.
Damien Daniel of Tunstall Healthcare said: “The impact of the UK’s aging population has led to an increase in demand for services and technological devices which allow older people to remain independent in their homes for longer.
“This new office at Grosvenor House will allow Tunstall Healthcare to respond to growing demand for our services.
“We were particularly attracted by the flexible lease terms and floor plates, meaning we were able to negotiate bespoke office space, which offer an exact match to our very specific requirements.”
Richard Fletcher-Brewer of GBR Phoenix Beard acted on behalf of the landlord. He said: “We’ve seen a marked increase in enquiries for space by companies involved in providing healthcare services and predict this trend will continue over a sustained, long term period.”
Other Grosvenor House tenants include Capita Social Care Resourcing, Heritage Lottery Fund, Linford C-Zero, Hathaway Investment Management and The Office of Rail Regulation.
