Malta flights back at Birmingham Airport

AIR Malta has announced the return of charter flights from Birmingham Airport this summer.

The Maltese airline will operate two weekly charter flights to and from Birmingham every Tuesday and Friday between May and October.

Philip Saunders, chief commercial officer for Air Malta, said: “Our summer charter operations further confirms the airline’s commitment to boost incoming tourism to Malta from the UK, and to bring Malta closer to their home.

“These flights also make it much easier for the Maltese market to visit the British regions.”

William Pearson, aviation development director at Birmingham Airport, said: “These charter flights are a great addition to our summer schedule and we’re sure they’ll prove to be very popular with passengers who want to grab some Mediterranean sun.”
