Software firm move sees Blythe Valley gain Perspective

A SOFTWARE firm is targeting growth and is planning to create new jobs after opening new offices in Solihull.

Perspective works with more than 60 local authorities and many blue-chip and SME companies across the country.

The firm is responsible for the accurate tracking of progression and attendance of thousands of learners between the ages of 14 and 16 through its web-based Collaborative Learning Manager (CLM) programme.

Its Sunesis software, which is also web based, is also used by training providers, colleges, employers and partners to provide detailed progress reports and management information for apprentice and other adult training schemes.

Perspective, which has also recently launched a partnership to sub-contract work in India, has moved into the University of Warwick Science Park’s Blythe Valley Innovation Centre on Blythe Valley Park.

Managing director Jim Davis is predicting strong growth for the business, which employs seven people and last year turned over £650,000.

He said: “Our clients range from local authorities to colleges and national training providers and is growing all the time.

“The Innovation Centre has offered us the flexibility to increase our presence when we need it, which suits us well.”

Nigel Shaw, centre manager at Blythe Valley Innovation Centre, said: “With new international operations forged and plans underway to recruit further Perspective certainly has an exciting future ahead.

“We’re delighted to have Jim and the team with us and look forward to supporting Perspective in any way we can.”
