Black Country Chamber announces new vice president

BLACK Country Chamber of Commerce has announced Ninder Johal as its new vice president.

Over the next 12 months Johal will work closely with current Black Country Chamber of Commerce president Paul Bennett who he will eventually succeed.

Johal, who was born and raised in Sandwell, has served as the president of Sandwell Chamber for almost two years. He is well known in the local business community and besides his position within the Chamber he is also chair of the Black Country Asian Business Association (BCABA) as well as a Black Country Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) board member.

Johal is the managing director of Nachural Records and Nachural Corporate Communications. Nachural assists organisations looking to communicate the value of their brand through events and video and provides event production for events of all sizes.

He said “I have been involved in the Black Country Chamber for many years and I must say it is a privilege to work for and represent the needs of businesses across the Black Country.

“Over the next year I will work closely with Paul Bennett to learn more about the role and what is expected of me, as well as offering my help and support as vice president.

“I look forward to building on the foundations Paul has laid during his tenure, with particular emphasis on developing relationships with our stakeholders for the betterment of local companies.”

Bennett said “I am delighted that Ninder will succeed me as president, it is a natural progression of his current role and I have every confidence that his knowledge of local businesses and passion to get the Black Country economy back on track will go a long way to ensure the Black Country Chamber continues to thrive in the future.”
