National Windscreens enjoys hike in turnover

TAMWORTH-based National Windscreens has announced a 6% increase in annual turnover following a number of contract wins with high profile insurance providers and fleet operators.

The company suggests its continued expansion is evidence of its intention of being the market leader in the UK automotive glazing sector.

More specifically it is the result of a series of high profile account wins in the insurance and fleet sectors, supported by an increase in individual motorists choosing the company to undertake windscreen repairs.

The independently owned company operates the UK’s largest branch network and has ambitious plans for the future. Its strategic business development plan includes actively developing partnerships with insurance providers and fleet operators.

Commercial director Pete Marsden said: “National Windscreens is targeting growth in a number of key areas. We offer dedicated services for insurance providers and fleet operators and our commitment to these sectors was rewarded with some substantial contracts in 2012, including being named preferred supplier by Tesco Underwriting, a two year contract renewal from Northgate Vehicle Hire and numerous others.”

National Windscreens underwent a number of changes in 2012 including the introduction of a new corporate identity.
