Lichfield hair salon is a cut above after securing new funding agreement
A HAIRDRESSERS in Lichfield has expanded after securing a new finance agreement.
Francesco Group Lichfield has moved to new larger premises in a prominent shopping location in the city.
The salon, which has relocated to a unit at the Three Spires Shopping Centre, is part of the Francesco Group, one of the largest hairdressing companies in the UK.
The franchise is now the largest hairdressing salon in Lichfield and is owned by Alice Reeve who bought it eight years ago. She had had been trying for some time to locate to larger premises so the business could expand.
When the two-storey unit became available she decided to lease the premises and secured the support of Lloyds TSB Commercial Banking.
The salon has been refurbished and decorated in a contemporary style, with 14 new styling chairs. Six months ago Ms Reeve began expanding the team in preparation for the move. It now consists of 14 stylists and technicians, and the new space will allow the business to expand further in the future.
Ms Reeve said: “I had been looking for some time for new premises that would be large enough for us to expand as our previous location was becoming too small to service our growing client base. Now with our bigger team we are in a great position to welcome clients old and new to the salon.
“Being a part of the Francesco Group franchise means we have the support of a well-respected name behind us that people know, and we also have the independence to run our own business and provide the best hairdressing and service for our clients.”
