Student accommodation unveiled on Birmingham’s Bristol Street

THE show flat of a newly developed student accommodation scheme which will provide 108 bed spaces on Birmingham’s Bristol Street is now open.
The Gooch Estate, assisted by Birmingham Properties Group, is developing the row of locally-listed buildings into student accommodation, as well as the refurbishment of the existing ground floor commercial units.
Neelam Sharma, regional manager at CRM, who has been appointed to manage the accommodation, said: “We’re delighted with this latest accommodation offering and are confident that students looking to start studying in the region this September will be impressed with the high-standards and facilities it includes.”
The completely refurbished Victorian town houses will offer modern facilities. All bedrooms are en suite and the accommodation will also boast a games room, outside communal area, secure car parking and an on-site management office.
Charles Gillett, partner at Pennycuick Collins which acts for the Gooch Estate, said: “This has been an exciting development to be involved with and we’re pleased we’ve been able to develop and restore these beautiful buildings.”
John Tebbutt, managing director of Birmingham Properties Group, added: “The scheme is a credit to all involved and demonstrates our continued investment and commitment to the city.”
