Palletways extends in the Czech Republic and Slovakia

MIDLANDS logistics group Palletways has extended its European operations into Eastern Europe.

It will be extending its full services to and from both the Czech Republic and Slovakia and secondly, it will be adding two new pallet types to all of its pan-European services – a Mini Quarter Pallet and a Light Pallet. Both will be launched next month.

The Czech Republic and Slovakia operations will bring Palletways coverage to 13 European countries.

Rachael Alpha, Managing Director of Palletways Europe, said: “The addition of the Czech Republic and Slovakia is part of our wider strategy to expand our geographical footprint in Europe and further enhance our customer offering. It also reinforces our position as Europe’s largest network for the express distribution of palletised goods.”

The introduction of the two new pallets brings the group’s offering to five standard pallets.

“The two additional pallet types are the result of ongoing conversations with our customers across Europe,” added Ms Alpha.

The Palletways Group network now comprises more than 300 depots and 12 hub operations. The group’s distribution network is made up of independent transport companies who share resources to deliver small consignments of palletised freight to market faster and more cost effectively.
