Developer Stewardson in line for hat trick of awards

A SANDWELL property developer is in line for a hat-trick of honours after being nominated for a top industry award for the third year in a row.
Cradley Heath-based Stewardson Developments Ltd, which is run by brothers Philip and Mark Stewardson, has been named a finalist in the prestigious Landlord of the Year category at this year’s Landlord & Letting Awards – an award they have won for the past two years.
Philip, 49, said: “Being selected as a finalist after winning for the past two years is a great honour and a testament to the hard work put in by our small but dedicated team. It sets us up for the year ahead where we are aiming for even more rapid growth.”
Mark, 46, added: “We are really pleased with our third nomination in as many years and to be recognised in the Landlord & Letting Awards is a great endorsement for our business.”
The launch of a quarterly newsletter for tenants has helped to nurture relationships and the brothers have also introduced a Tenant Feedback Form so residents can give their opinion on services.
“The newsletter has created a strong feeling of community, while the Tenant Feedback Forms give residents a voice. We value their opinion,” added Philip.
Stewardson Developments Ltd, which was established in 1996, owns 122 properties across the West Midlands, with many in Halesowen, Stourbridge, Quinton, Bearwood and Edgbaston.
Last year the brothers were praised for helping eligible tenants save up to £300-a-year by installing solar panels on their rental properties.
The Landlord & Letting Awards take place on Wednesday November 27 at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire.
