Record number of entries for Business Masters Awards

THIS year’s TheBusinessDesk.com West Midlands Business Masters Awards has received a record number of entries.

When the deadline for awards entries passed on Friday the final count revealed more than twice as many firms had entered than in 2013.

TheBusinessDesk.com editor Andy Coyne said: “This has been a great response from West Midlands businesses, large and small, and we have been overwhelmed by the interest shown in our Business Masters awards.

“There are some cracking business stories amongst the entries and I look forward to discussing and evaluating them with our esteemed panel of judges later this week.”

The judging session will take place in Birmingham tomorrow and the shortlists for the 12 awards categories will be revealed on TheBusinessDesk.com’s daily bulletin next week.

Those shortlisted firms will go forward to our gala awards dinner at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham on June 18 when the winners will be announced – but only after all the shortlisted businesses are interviewed.

West Midlands businesses have also signed up to be sponsors of the Masters. They include law firm Higgs & Sons and automotive sector manufacturer Sertec.

If you would like to join them as a sponsor of these prestigious awards please call Brett Murray on 07875 499667 or email him at brett.murray@thebusinessdesk.com
