Growth on the cards at Warwickshire accountants

A WARWICKSHIRE accountancy practice is looking forward to a business boost after qualifying for a Government business growth programme.
Leask Accountancy Solutions, run by Julia Leask in Warwick, has been successful in its application for a Growth Voucher for strategic business advice.
The company will match-fund the £2,000 voucher to spend on sales and marketing advice and has agreed a contract with Coventry-based Rev Marketing to supply the service.
Ms Leask set-up the company four years ago and acts as an outsourced ‘Finance Director’ for SMEs.
She said: “We are now at the point where we are looking to grow the company and I wanted to invest in expert business advice in order to add to our existing client base.
“When I saw the Growth Vouchers were available for strategic sales and marketing advice, I decided to apply and I am delighted that we have been successful.
“This will make a very big impact on the company and we are looking forward to working with Rev Marketing over the coming weeks and months to implement a strategy that will help to raise our profile and awareness of our services.”
She said the intention was to begin with an audit of the firm’s current activity, work that into a deliverable strategy and then implement that in a bid to retain existing clients and attract ones.
The £30m Growth Vouchers scheme was launched by the Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS) and is available to any businesses, which have been trading for over a year and have 49 employees or less.
The West Midlands’ network of Chambers of Commerce is the delivery partner for the region.
Louise Wall, Regional Coordinator for the Growth Vouchers scheme, said: “We are delighted that Leask Accountancy Solutions has been successful in its application for a voucher.
“It’s also great news for the local economy that the money is being spent with a service provider from this area – so it means a boost for two local companies.”
