Higgs & Sons completes fit-out on expansion of Waterfront offices

BLACK Country law firm Higgs & Sons has completed fit-out on a £300,000 scheme to expand facilities at its offices near Dudley.

Office refurbishment and fit out specialist, Overbury, completed the work on Bridge House, The Waterfront, Brierley Hill to enable the law firm to accommodate an additional 50 members of staff as part of its growth plan.

Higgs & Sons, which has experienced four consecutive years of double digit growth and is one of the headline sponsors of this year’s TheBusinessDesk.com’s Business Masters awards, opted on expansion to maximise its potential.

Overbury was tasked with managing the fit-out of the new 8,880 sq ft office space following its successful refurbishment of Higgs & Sons’ head office at Waterfront Business Park in 2010.

The project capitalised on elements from the previous project including flexible furniture suites, an open plan floor plate and simple yet high contrast material finishes that remained on brand.

A total of 56 workstations were created alongside seminar and training space, centralised meeting rooms, a kitchen and dining area.
