Colliers wins joint agency role at Fort Dunlop

PROPERTY consultancy Colliers International’s national offices team has secured a joint agency position with GVA to market Urban Splash’s Fort Dunlop scheme in Birmingham.
The building was redeveloped by the Urban Splash in 2006 and brought on-stream 300,000 sq ft of grade A office space, ranging from 1,000 sq ft to 53,000 sq ft across seven floors.
The building also offers 45,000 sq ft of retail space, including an onsite gym as well as a coffee shop and has remained more than 95% occupied since its completion.
Its heritage dates back to its days as the factory and office of Dunlop Rubber.
Matt Long, Birmingham-based director of national Offices at Colliers International said: “Fort Dunlop is one of Birmingham’s landmarks, with immediately available units of 1,000 sq ft to 25,000 sq ft and flexible lease structures, it’s an unrivalled office location for any business.”
Emily Handslip of Urban Splash said: “The consistent level of occupancy is testament to what Urban Splash has created and this year alone we’ve secured in excess of 30,000 sq ft of deals with tenants expanding their space there.”
