Chamber launches partnership with Katie Bard

RECRUITMENT and people development specialist Katie Bard has launched a new partnership with the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce.

The firm, which is based on Waterloo Street in Birmingham, is partnering with the Chamber to sponsor its Quarterly Economic Survey (QES) and to promote it as the key business indicator for the West Midlands.

As the inaugural sponsor of the QES reports, Katie Bard will provide analysis of the findings in each of the next four surveys and deliver these through a series of economic events held in partnership with the Chamber.

John Mortimer, co-founder and CEO of the international Angela Mortimer group, of which Katie Bard is a member firm, said: “We’re delighted to be working with the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce to help communicate the findings of each of the QES reports.

“Our team at Katie Bard are experts in supporting the development of careers and contributing to the growth of the city and the wider region and we believe we are well placed to help add value to the reports and offer insight and advice.”

Jerry Blackett, CEO of Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, said: “The Quarterly Economic Survey is the region’s flagship business survey and is a key measure of business sentiment and economic performance.

“The survey forms a substantial part of the British Chambers’ QES at the national level. It is widely referenced and monitored by the Bank of England, HM Treasury and European Commission, so it is a crucial vessel for local businesses.

“We are delighted to work with Katie Bard to ensure that the QES remains the biggest and most representative survey in Greater Birmingham.”
