Wyre Forest BNI targets growth after generating £1m of business

A BUSINESS networking group in Worcestershire has helped to generate more than £1m for its members during the past 12 months.
Rosanne Howe, of Logs West Midlands, and BNI Wyre Forest Chapter Director, said: “Working together we have generated over £1m of trade in the last 12-months which is a phenomenal achievement and equates to an additional £42,250 worth of business referrals each for every BNI Wyre Forest member.”
The 35-member group, active since 2010, meets weekly at the Stourport Manor Hotel and the success of the network is prompting further expansion.
Teri Baron, managing director of Stourport-based Rotary Printers, said: “As a founder member, and as part of the Leadership Team along with Rosanne and Gill Woolridge, of The HR Dept, it’s fantastic to be part of the growth of BNI Wyre Forest which has generated and delivered such a terrific amount of business within the local economy.
“We will continue to build solid professional relationships which then lead to increasing success for every member.”
BNI Wyre Forest is now ranked among the top 10 most successful BNI groups nationally.
Wyre Forest MP Mark Garnier was a recent visitor to the group.
He said: “It is a true testament to the rising success of businesses in Wyre Forest that BNI has seen a significant increase in membership over the past year. This is a group of local businesses that are in good shape and good heart and for me this sets a benchmark to aim for all businesses.”
