KPMG appoints five new directors in Birmingham

KPMG has announced the appointment of six new directors in the Midlands as it continues to strengthen its senior team in the region.

The newly-promoted directors in KPMG’s Birmingham office include Gordon Docherty and James Tracey in audit, Gwyn Llewelyn and Nick Taylor in transactions and restructuring and Kaljinder Nijjar in tax. They are joined by Colin Brearley in audit, who is based at the firm’s Nottingham office.

The promotions come on the back of a number of senior appointments in the region, with five new partners announced alongside a new Director of Sales and Marketing in the Midlands, former Lloyds area director Andy Youngman.

Mike Steventon, Midlands Regional Chairman at KPMG, said: “In the Midlands we have over 1,200 of the firm’s most experienced and talented professionals, and we are constantly working to enhance the services and offering we provide to business across the region.

“These promotions recognise our clear and continued commitment to grow our business and provide experienced professionals to work closely with both new and existing clients, where they will help to address the business issues and opportunities they are facing in what is a flourishing economic climate.”
