50 jobs on the way as wealth manager sets up shop in Birmingham

45 Church Street, Birmingham

AMBITIOUS wealth management firm Bellpenny is to establish a new Midlands hub at 45 Church Street, Birmingham.

More than 50 Bellpenny staff will move into the 8,709 sq ft. ground floor office suite on April 13, with a doubling of numbers anticipated over time.

Reading-headquartered Bellpenny is supported by Oaktree, the global investment management firm.

It reached £1bn in funds under management (FUM) in October 2013, just a year after opening for business. In September 2014 Bellpenny passed £2.5bn FUM.

Bellpenny’s chief executive Kevin Ronaldson said: “Birmingham was the natural choice for Bellpenny’s Midlands base and, equally, 45 Church Street proved the stand-out option for our office location.

“It meets all our key criteria, including plenty of room for future growth and an excellent ground floor position with a separate entrance for clients and other visitors.

“Birmingham benefits from a vibrant, dynamic commercial community – moving to these new offices places Bellpenny right at the heart of it.

“This move provides the infrastructure we need to support significant Bellpenny expansion in the Midlands. It is another important step towards realising our vision of becoming Britain’s most respected financial advice brand.”
