Business growth prompts firm to relocate to new Rugby base

METALWORKING and woodworking machinery supplier Baileigh Industrial has moved to a new 35,000 sq ft base in Rugby.

The firm, part of a group based in the US, formerly had its regional base in Coventry.

Its new premises on the Swift Valley Industrial Estate provide it with 50% more space to accommodate growth.

The company has also strengthened the work force with the appointment of ten new employees.

The firm said its expansion is a result of strong growth and impressive trading results.

It has moved with the support of The Royal Bank of Scotland which provided the company with a £1.9m funding package.

The package consists of a fee-free loan which has financed 100% of the purchase costs of the new premises. The loan has been granted under the Government backed Funding for Lending Scheme (FLS).

Chad Spaeth, UK managing director of Baileigh Industrial, said: “The new premises are excellent and we are pleased that we have completed the relocation to Rugby.

Adam Smith, relationship manager for The Royal Bank of Scotland, said: “Baileigh is a very profitable business and we have been impressed with management team and its track record of success.”
