Wolverhampton dentist gets its teeth into expansion plans

A WOLVERHAMPTON private dental company is expanding its operation in the city I response to customer demand.

Perfect Profiles, which is based in Tyburn Road, has recruited four new dentists and a new clinical director. The surgery, which has seen a big increase in patient numbers during the last 12 months, provides low cost dental implants and restorative treatments.

Mike Silford, managing director, said: “It has been a particularly busy year for both our clinic in Wolverhampton and our second practice in Houghton Regis (Bedfordshire).

“We are now treating more than 1,000 patients a year and have invested heavily in both clinics.

“Expanding our team of dentists and bringing in Martin Mayhew as clinical director will enable us to move forward and continue to grow our patient numbers.”

It also means the clinic can branch out and provide more every day dental treatments such as fillings, root canal and teeth straightening.

The company, which has been in existence for 13 years, recently underwent major investment to extend its Houghton Regis clinic and is in the process of a rebranding.

Damian Edwards, sales and marketing manager, said: “The company has changed significantly over the last 13 years. When it was first set up Perfect Profiles facilitated dental treatment as well as cosmetic surgery overseas but since opening the first UK based clinic five years ago the focus has shifted to solely dentistry.

“We are now a leading provider of major reparative treatment such as dental implants and it was important our logo displayed this change.

“The rebrand certainly reflects this and also demonstrates our commitment to grow and provide more centres across the UK.”

The firm is now considering sites for its third clinic and over the next four years is planning further expansion.
