20 senior promotions at PwC in the Midlands

ACCOUNTANCY and advisory firm PwC has strengthened its senior regional team, with six new partners and 14 new directors.

Some 45% of the senior promotions involve women.

The firm has admitted a record 57 new partners to the UK partnership, 44% of which are in the regions.

The new partners at PwC in the Midlands are

Alison Breadon (assurance), Andrew Taylor (tax/transfer pricing), Cat McCusker (consulting), Nick Hatton (tax-M&A), and Rob Moran (deals),Will Dowsett (tax – private client)

PwC Midlands has also seen Steve Smith return to the Midlands to focus on the provision of tax services to private equity-backed businesses.

There are also a series of promotions at director level in the region:

Assurance: Clare Maio and Sarah Phillips
Tax: Angela Browning, Brendan Campbell, Emma Cody, Nicholas Baker, Roslyn Williams and Steve Couchman
Deals: Emma Cray, Julia Yates, Matthew Lynn, Mike Denny and Michael Meredith
Consulting: Gareth Robinson.
