JLR supplier expands premises to meet growing demand
VEHICLE instrument cluster manufacturer UK NSI has expanded its Redditch base to accommodate its growing business.
UK-NSI is the UK branch of Nippon Seiki which provides instrument cluster for vehicle manufacturers worldwide including Jaguar Land Rover and BMW. The Japanese firm established a base in the UK over 30 years ago and employs over 400 people from its Redditch centre, covering both sales and manufacturing.
Such is the demand for its products that the company has now taken two units at Manor Side Industrial Estate to allow for the expansion of the business so it can meet both domestic and export orders.
The deal is the latest in a number of disposals for KGA Chartered Surveyors, which has experienced a significant increase in interest at Manor Side Industrial Estate following the refurbishment of the site together with a regional resurgence of the commercial property market.
Richard James-Moore, director at KGA Chartered Surveyors, said: “We are delighted to have secured the letting of Unit 26 and 27 to UK NSI on a three year lease. The two adjacent units have been combined to provide them with 21,506 sq ft of space in which to expand their business. The recent refurbishment to create high quality space, combined with the strategic M42 corridor location are key selling points of Manor Side, both of which were fundamental to securing this deal.”

Situated close to the M42, the transport connections to our customers including Jaguar Land Rover and BMW in Oxford and Honda in Swindon are unrivalled.”
KGA alongside Knight Frank are now promoting the final two refurbished units in the North Moons Moat area of Redditch.
