Former council offices placed on the market

FORMER council offices in Warwickshire are to be sold off as part of a restructuring of children’s services and adult care provision.

The suite, within Elizabeth House, home to Stratford-on-Avon District Council, was previously used by Warwickshire County Council staff.

County council employees, providing children’s services and adult care, moved into Elizabeth House in 2012, vacating six properties elsewhere in a bid to save on costs.

Now, the decision has been taken to vacate this space too.

The buildings is being marketed by SDL Bigwood. It extends to 9,206 sq ft, and has an asking rent of £92,000 per annum.

James Carver, of SDL Bigwood’s Commercial Agency department, said: “Elizabeth House is an attractive stone building.

“The recently refurbished office suite is modern and predominantly open plan.

“It is available on flexible lease terms for a minimum three-year term. Being in the centre of the town, it is a very attractive location.”

Mr Carver said consideration might be given to letting the suite in two parts.
