IT firm marks fifth birthday with new contract

A COVENTRY IT firm has marked its fifth anniversary by signing an extended deal with a major client.

PS4B was launched by husband and wife team Richard and Kerry Hooper in 2005 and has grown its client base so quickly that it is now set to buy its own office at Electric Wharf in the city.

The company has been working on behalf of CWT Chamber Training for three years and both have agreed to now extend the agreement by a further three years.

PS4B supports the whole of the organisation’s IT systems, which includes more than 150 PCS and multiple servers.

The company has also recently designed and built a link between CWT’s Coventry office and newly-opened Leamington operation.

Mr Hooper said the contract with CWT Chamber Training had proved to be fruitful for both organisations.

“We knew where we wanted to take the business five years ago but it doesn’t always pan out the way you have planned, especially with a recession. But PS4B has withstood that and has continued to grow.

“For us, working with CWT Chamber Training is a huge feather in our cap because it is the training arm of the Chamber and that brings its own seal of approval,” he said.

Jan Ryan, of CWT Chamber Training, said she looked forward to working with the company into the future.

“You need a close relationship with all your suppliers but that is particularly true for IT because it is such a crucial part of any business or organisation.

“The new office in Leamington has been linked with our base in Coventry and that has worked extremely smoothly.

“We look forward to continuing our relationship with PS4B and are delighted to have extended the deal by a further three years,” she said.
