Software firm relocates to Jewellery Quarter

INTERNATIONAL software company CDC Software has moved its technical services team to a new base in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.

The CDC Factory team has relocated to facilities within St Paul’s Square.

CDC Factory is a market leading Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) system which specialises in the food and beverages market.

It provides employees working in factories with the means to record any faults with machinery they might be using.

Robin Wight, principal product architect for CDC Factory, said: “Our specialist system is all about improving performance and helping people on the shop floor to do their job more effectively.

“We moved into the corporate pod as it was the most creative space we looked at in the city centre, and being part of an international corporation we had to remain in Birmingham as it such a great business hub.

“I spent a couple of days looking for the right office space and St Paul’s really did win me over, it is a great building with plenty of character with all the services that you need to run your business.”

Anne Corstorphine, managing director of the corporate pod, said: “I am delighted to welcome Robin and his team from CDC Factory to St Paul’s.

“The location here is unbeatable both in terms of being part of the business community and enjoying the social side of the surroundings.”
