Experts reveal trade opportunities for entrepreneurs

THE inside track on how Yorkshire companies can expand their international trade opportunities is to be given by experts.

TheBusinessDesk.com seminar – International Trade: Overseas Opportunities for Yorkshire Businesses – will feature a panel of highly respected experts in the field of international trade.

They will give an audience of company directors advice on this key issue as companies look to trade out of the recession and expand their business abroad.

Places are still available for the breakfast event, which is being held on September 16 in association with 3 Albion Place and will feature advisers from sponsors UK Trade & Investment – the organisation that helps UK companies succeed in international markets – law firm Hammonds, accountants Mazars and Leeds Business School.

The seminar, will include presentations from:

• Andrew Hinton of UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), on overseas opportunities from fiscal stimulus packages;
• Marie Brittenden of Hammonds, on legal risks in international trade agreements;
• Ian Wrightson of Mazars , on how to service UK businesses overseas, setting up tax structures and new trends in India and China.

David Parkin, Editor of TheBusinessDesk.com, will introduce the seminar and chair a discussion where the panel will take questions from the audience.
