New tenants for West Yorkshire industrial estate

A West Yorkshire industrial estate has welcomed two new tenants.

The Leeds offices of property consultancies Knight Frank and Gent Visick brokered the deals at Ripley Close in Normanton, which has seen Medical Gas Supplies and Hey Safe Cleaning both taking just under 5,000 sq ft on a five- year lease.

The two deals follow the letting of Unit 8, which extends to 4,802 sqft, to Anglian Group, also on a five-year lease.

The estate was recently purchased by Ribston, a growing property company that specialises in multi-let industrial estates. The 43,000 sq ft estate, which comprises nine industrial units and a large, secure shared yard, is situated off Junction 31 of the M62.

It is already home to tenants including Solupak, the Anglian Group and Flue & Ducting.

Ribston has undertaken a major refurbishment of the site which offers industrial and warehouse accommodation ranging from 4,762sq ft to 9,536sq ft.

Three units remain available to let.

Tom Goode, of Knight Frank’s industrial team in Leeds, said: “Ripley Close is in a well-established location, within one mile of J31 of the M62 motorway, which provides direct access to the close-by wider motorway network. We have seen good interest to date and these two lettings are a testament to the refurbishment works that Ribston has undertaken.”

Gent Visick are the joint marketing agents with Knight Frank advising the landlord Ribston.
