Logistics business grows northern presence with office launch

AGI Global Logistics has opened another base, increasing the firm’s coverage in the North of England and taking its total number of offices to 18.

The Wakefield office is an extension of the company’s existing Derby operation.

It will be run by Dale Cross and Steven Barrett, specialising in Air Freight, Road Freight & Sea Freight, with Nickie Bassett the main contact for all sales enquiries for the office.

As well as offering Air, Road and Sea transport, the AGI team at the new office also provides DDP Regime 42 movements from the UK to Europe for groupage, full truckload freight and dedicated express vans.

This allows the Wakefield-based team to meet all freight and logistics requirements.

A spokesman for the business said: “The opening of this office cements AGI’s commitment to offering logistics solutions in the North of England, and it will complement our offices in Manchester, Immingham and Newcastle.”
