Rooftop hot tubs for new development

VISITORS to Leeds will soon be able to indulge in a spot of rooftop bathing following the delivery of two hot tubs to one of the city’s latest developments.
Leeds-based boutique apartment company, The Chambers, has taken delivery of the tubs to be installed in it’s serviced apartments.
The two giant Jacuzzi hot tubs – so big a city centre street had to be closed – have been delivered to the company’s Park Place development and hoisted by crane to their seventh-floor position by a giant telescopic crane.
Christine Boothroyd, owner of The Chambers, said: “We aim to provide all our guests with first class facilities and are proud of our policy to design each apartment on a strictly individual basis, which makes people feel like they’re living in a home from home.
“It is our ethos to constantly look for ways of adding value to our luxury offering and what better way to do that than giving our visitors the chance to take in some breathtaking views, whilst enjoying a long soak in one our hot tubs, complete with television screen, CD and DVD player.”
With conference facilities for both business and recreational use, Park Place is The Chambers’ new luxury residence – a restored 19th Century building in the heart of Leeds’s business district comprising 62 boutique, individually-designed serviced apartments.
The company was the first to establish a serviced apartment brand in Leeds when it opened its Riverside West development in 2003.
