In Brief: Stephen Kennedy, Medilink, Sheffield Chamber

STEPHEN Kennedy will remain a member of the Leeds City Region Local Enterprise Partnership board despite stepping down from his role at CPP.

SHEFFIELD Chamber of Commerce has been shortlisted in the UK Event Awards.
The organisation has been recognised in the Best In-House Event category for the 2011 Annual President’s Dinner at Sheffield Cathedral.
Kate Stephenson, events manager at Sheffield Chamber, said: “To be short-listed for this national award is a fantastic achievement for the Chamber and recognition of all the hard work undertaken by a number of people in staging the President’s dinner.
“We wanted an event which was different to all others and the Sheffield Cathedral created a breathtaking setting for the evening. We had terrific feedback from all who attended the dinner which was why we staged this year’s event at the Cathedral for a second successive year.”
