Four Yorkshire firms shortlisted for business awards

FOUR Yorkshire companies have been shortlisted in the National Business Awards.
The shortlisted companies include gas analyser manufacturer Analox Sensor Technology, based in Stokesley, which has been named in the Santander small to medium-sized business category.
Mark Lewis, managing director of Analox Sensor Technology, said: “In recent years, we have restructured the company and we have clear targets of how and where we wish to grow our business.
“We also have a strong company ethos of ensuring everything is done the right way, whether that is internally in dealing with fellow staff, or externally in dealing with clients, suppliers or others.
“We believe we have earned this nomination by building a team of people who are passionate about the company and its work. The staff should take pride in the company’s success and growth, and in this award nomination.”
The other Yorkshire companies to feature in the final are Ioko, Renew Holdings and Callcredit Information Group. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on November 9.
Philip Forrest, chairman of the judging panel, said: “The economic climate continues to present UK businesses with an unprecedented challenge and it is therefore encouraging that the entries in this year’s National Business Awards have shown no drop in quality or performance.”
