Daniel Gill, Dine’s managing director, says: “We’ve initiated discussions with Virgin’s head of astronaut experiences at their Mission Control in London. With the world’s media focussed on the region following last week’s Grand Depart and my team currently deployed to assist at The Great Yorkshire Show, it feels like Yorkshire is at the centre of the universe this summer.  We’ve decided to try to make that a reality for the Dine brand.”

Nigel Sweet, operations manager at Leeds Golf Centre, said: “With a summer of football, we felt it was right to get in the footballing mood. Footgolf is a great family day out or corporate activity, it’s also an opportunity for those who wouldn’t normally visit our facilities to see what we have to offer.”
