Accountancy firm announces move

BARBER Harrison & Platt (BHP) is moving to larger premises after signing for more than 5,000 sq ft at a West Yorkshire business park.

The firm will move to Lawnswood Business Park in September.

Mike Jackson, Leeds office managing partner, said: “We are excited about our move to Lawnswood Business Park. We are passionate about both our clients and the West Yorkshire area, and this move allows us the space we need to continue the rapid growth we have achieved recently.

Richard Thornton of Jones Lang LaSalle, who brokered the deal, said: “Canmoor purchased Lawnswood Business Park in November last year and has implemented a very flexible letting strategy to attract occupiers for the fully refurbished space.

“BHP is the first to capitalise on this approach, and ourselves and joint agents CBRE are in discussions with a number of other occupiers for the remaining space with suites available from 1,300sqft to a building of 14,176sqft.”
