Appointments: Wykeland Group, Roan Building Solutions, Winston Solicitors

COMMERCIAL property developers Wykeland Group have appointed Grant Edmondosn as a property director.
As part of the board, he will oversee the management of a £65m commercial property portfolio, and manage sales and lettings at the firm’s Humber-based busienss parks including Eurparc at Grimsby, Bridgehead and Melton West.
Dominic Gibbons, managing director of Wykeland Group, said:”Grant joins the board at a very exciting time for the business.

Mr Edmondson, who joined the company in 2013 from MEPC, added: “Wykeland Group is a tremendous company to work for as we deliver some of the best and most exciting commercial developments in the north.

Wakefield’s Roan Building Solutions has hired former carpenter and joiner, Neil Setterfield as a contracts manager.
He was previously employed at the Bladeroom Group and helped deliver a £10m healthcare centre in Liverpool.
Matthew Goff, sales director at Roan said: “Offsite construction is growing in popularity because it’s fast and, when done properly, as high quality as any building from bricks and mortar.
“Finding talent is difficult. Neil knows how to pull together a compelling tender and then deliver on that tender’s promises because of the breadth and depth of his experience in complex, innovative modular builds.”
Recently the firm also appointed a compliance manager, Jeremy Waddell.

Leeds firm Winston Solicitors have promoted Emma Farrell to the position of partner.
The firm now has a total of seven in their partnership team.
