Developers snap up £4.55m of residential property

PROPERTY developers the Pervaiz Naviede Family Trust have acquired residential property in Yorkshire worth £4.55m.

The 86 properties it has bought across the region include apartments in Elland, Pontefract, Dewsbury and Hipperholme, between Halifax and Brighouse.

The acquisition was facilitated by Brookhouse Investments and real estate consultancy Connells.

The properties have been purchased under leasehold tenure, encompassing a mixture of two-storey and multi-storey developments.

Rudi Falla, spokesman for the Trust, said: “Our aim is to secure healthy property investment opportunities that will create high rental yields for the foreseeable future.

“The purchases made in Yorkshire are particularly promising for the Trust and will go to serve heightened tenant demand for first-rate properties across the region.

“Each property complements our ever-growing repertoire of attractive residential units and we continue to seek similar opportunities nationwide.”

Gateleys provided legal representation on behalf of the Trust.
