Leadership training match funding boost

A FUNDING package worth £2,000, which will enable SMEs to access some of the country’s highest performing entrepreneurs has been launched.
With up to £1,000 available through the Government’s Train to Gain scheme plus another £1,000 of matched funding by training company Enterprise Leaders Worldwide, executives of qualifying small firms can be taught entrepreneurial leadership by distinguished past and present TV dragons Simon Woodroffe and Duncan Bannatyne.
SMEs will also be able to access the profit building strategies of 27 other self-made millionaire business leaders including Lord Bilimoria – the founder of Cobra Beer, Lord Harris – the founder of CarpetRight, Sir Tom Hunter – Scotland’s richest entrepreneur, and many other highly profitable UK business mentors.
Richard Parkes Cordock, mkanaging director of Enterprise Leaders Worldwide, said: “I’m delighted to be able to match the government’s funding for SME executives who want to bring a bit of Dragons’ Den thinking and energy to their company.
“Through our training, we give the senior management team the tools they need to train and develop the rest of their staff, so that every employee and manager in their company makes decisions as if they were a business owner themselves, someone just like Duncan Bannatyne.”
