Takeover talks on the table at Hull City

“CONSTRUCTIVE” conversations are being held over the fate of Hull City.

The club, which has been up for sale, recently won a semi-final against Derby 3-0, and are on the verge of reaching the Championship playoff final. The club could be in the Premier League by the end of the month.

Owner Assem Allam’s application to change the club’s name to Hull Tigers was rejected by the Football Association two years ago and since then has been up for sale.

A potential buyer has come forward according to the Hull Daily Mail, and toured the club and grounds over the weekend.

Egyptian owner Mr Allam, who bought the club in 2010, told the BBC in 2015 that he had rejected offers for the club in the past because he wanted it to go to a “good home.”
