Art of flirting revealed by Yorkshire firm

THE secrets to the art of flirting, for both business and pleasure, are to be revealed at an exclusive event in York.
Lesley Brewer from Brawby-based The Introduction Company has joined forces with business management coach, Mark Hayward from Congruity Solutions in Cottingham to hold a one day ‘Art of Flirting’ event at Middlethorpe Hall Hotel on June 20th.
The informal ‘flirting workshop’ will focus on a variety of subjects to help people perform better whether in work, finding love or in other social situations.
Topics covered will include how to approach someone new, what makes a good chat up line, how to make good conversation, how to attract someone’s attention without saying a word and how to read and send out the right signals.
My Hayward works with many businesses and individuals all over the UK to help improve their interpersonal skills, increase sales and generally develop both themselves and the companies they run or work for.
In addition he also runs courses helping people to overcome personal obstacles such as losing weight.
Ms Brewer said she came up with the idea of the one day event following the success of her singles’ events in York, Leeds and Newcastle where a growing number of people expressed an interest in learning how to boost their self confidence and also attract the opposite sex discretely.
The Introduction Company works with single men and women from their mid 20s upwards to help them find their ideal partner and, as a member of the Association of British Introduction Agencies (ABIA), is the only industry-regulated dating company in the North.
The events’ side of the business is growing so rapidly, thanks to the success of the ‘Meet and Greet’ events in association with Hotel du Vin and Malmaison, that Ms Brewer is now considering franchising this aspect of The Introduction Company.
She added: “There’s so much more to flirting that fluttering your eyelashes or pouting your lips but many people really don’t understand what it’s all about.
“This event will arm them with the self-confidence and practical advice to communicate and flirt more effectively whether it’s for business or pleasure.”
Mark Hayward added: “Working with Lesley at the Introduction Company we were able to identify a way of applying these principles for her clients to increase their potential for finding love.
“The flirty day is just a fun and innovative way to showing people how to be the best they can be, how to find opportunities and what to do with them. Success isn’t dependent upon perfect circumstances, but on the persistent, consistent desire to achieve an outcome.”
