REAL estate adviser DTZ has added to its industrial and logistics team in Leeds with the appointment of Jacques Esterhuizen as a surveyor.

Mr Esterhuizen joins from Sanderson Young to work on DTZ’s industrial instructions across Yorkshire.

He joins a team that has transacted more than 2m sq ft of industrial and distribution space across the region in the last 12 months.

SAVILLS Commercial has announced two promotions in its Leeds office.

Stephen Henderson, retail, has been promoted to director while Josh Sadgrove of the building and project consultancy has been made associate director.

Paul Fairhurst, head of Savills Commercial in Leeds, said: “Stephen and Josh’s contributions to their respective teams have been outstanding.”

Rural Solutions Consulting has hired Gail Culshaw as construction manager.

She has extensive experience within the construction industry and has worked within the rural regeneration sector with particular experience in dealing with heritage and listed buildings.

She joins from the Accent Group where she was involved in project management, procurement, health and safety, site supervision, sub-contractor management and financials.
