Yorkshire Business Masters 2011: Final week for nominations

THE closing date for nominations for the 2011 Yorkshire Business Masters is approaching fast.

There is just one week left to highlight the best examples of Yorkshire business before nominations close on April 28.

The Yorkshire Business Masters are supported by Walker Morris, KPMG, Credit Agricole, NatWest, Leeds University Business School and Welcome to Yorkshire.

The awards will be presented at Aspire, in Leeds on June 16.

The event will run from noon to 3.30pm and starts with a champagne reception, followed by a three course lunch with fine wine.

Tickets are priced £125 plus VAT each and are sold in pairs, making it an ideal opportunity to entertain clients and make new contacts in a relaxed atmosphere.

Nominations are being invited in six categories:
 

  • Yorkshire Newcomer: Best new business initiative in the region
  • Yorkshire Grit: Overcoming adversity and making a real difference
  • Yorkshire Pride: Most meaningful philanthropic initiative by a business, organisation or leader
  • Yorkshire Innovator: Most creative or original business thinking
  • Yorkshire Ambassador: Greatest contribution to business in Yorkshire

And a new category has been launched for 2011:

  • Yorkshire Adviser: The best professional adviser working in the region
