Fashion retailer creates jobs

FASHION chain TDF (To Die For) is creating 10 new jobs by opening a store as part of an expansion plan by the Yorkshire-based outfit to roll out its concept over the next 18 months.
The Leeds-based retailer has opened the new store in Grimsby’s Freshney Place Shopping Centre.
Covering more than 2,000 sq ft, the new store will stock male and female high street favourites such as Firetrap, Duck & Cover, Superdry, Bench, Voi Jeans and Lacoste. New men’s collection Barnaby Mac will also be available.
Launched in 1999 TDF offers higher end well-known brands from its five stores in the North of England.
The company plans to open a number of new stores over the next 18 months.
Managing director Simon Reynolds said: “TDF has spent the last 10 years building strong relationships with all the brands offered in store. This, coupled with the infrastructure we have in place, has provided the foundation and confidence to continue the expansion of the business, commencing with the opening of our Grimsby store.
“We are looking forward to working with Freshney Place to create what we are sure will be a very successful location.”
Freshney Place’s centre director, Amanda Austin, added: “We are absolutely thrilled with the arrival of TDF at Freshney Place. Not only is the store contributing to the local economy by creating jobs in the region, it brings some fantastic luxury brands which will be exclusive to TDF at Freshney Place.”
