SME In Brief: Move for MoneySolvers; First finance directors forum held;
MONEYSOLVERS, the Skipton-based independent financial solutions centre, is set to create 100 new jobs nationwide as part of its expansion plans.
The debt solutions broker is relocating to larger premises in Keighley as part of a drive to expand its brand and marketing capabilities.
The firm likens itself to a ‘Money Supermarket’ type of assessment centre for people in financial difficulties rather than looking for credit or insurance.
It works with a panel of brokers, lenders and independent financial advisers, which are recommended to clients.
Co-founders Richard Wilson and James Smith came up with the idea after seeing a gap in the market for offering a service to help people in debt.
Mr Wilson said of the move: “Acquiring new larger premises is fantastic news from MoneySolvers. We have been looking at expanding operations for some time and have been impressed with our success to date.”
